Глава 5

1 Так Соломон завершил всю работу, которую он хотел сделать для храма Господа. Соломон принёс туда всё то, что приготовил его отец Давид. Всю утварь и все предметы, сделанные из серебра и золота, он отдал в сокровищницы храма Божьего.

2 Затем Соломон созвал всех старейшин Израиля, всех глав колен Израиля, всех начальников израильских семей, чтобы перенести ковчег Соглашения Господа из города Давида, то есть Сиона, в храм Господний.

3 Все израильтяне пришли к царю Соломону на праздник, который отмечался в седьмом месяце года.

4 Когда собрались все старейшины, священники и левиты подняли ковчег Соглашения и понесли его в Иерусалимский храм. Они также несли шатёр собрания со всеми священными вещами в нём.

6 А царь Соломон и весь собравшийся к нему израильский народ шли перед ковчегом, принося в жертву столько овец и крупного рогатого скота, что их невозможно было сосчитать.

7 Затем священники внесли ковчег Соглашения Господа вовнутрь храма, в Святая святых, и поставили его на заранее приготовленное место под крылья Херувимов.

8 Крылья Херувимов простирались над ковчегом, покрывая ковчег и его шесты.

9 Эти шесты были такие длинные, что их концы были видны из святого места перед Святая святых, но снаружи их не было видно. Они находятся там и до сегодняшнего дня.

10 В ковчеге ничего не было, кроме двух скрижалей, которые Моисей положил туда на горе Хорив, когда Господь заключил соглашение с израильтянами после того, как они вышли из Египта.

11 После обряда освещения, все священники вышли из святого места и собрались вместе, не обращая внимания на то, к какой группе священников они принадлежали.

12 Все левиты-певцы стояли с восточной стороны алтаря. Среди них были Асаф, Еман и Идифун, а также их сыновья и родственники. Все они были одеты в белый лён, а в руках держали кимвалы, лиры и арфы. С этими левитами-певцами было сто двадцать священников, которые служили трубачами.

13 Люди, игравшие на трубах, и люди, которые пели, звучали как единое целое. Они пели и играли вместе, когда прославляли и благодарили Господа. Они издавали громкий звук трубами, кимвалами и другими музыкальными инструментами и пели песню под названием «Господь добр, любовь Его вечна!» Затем храм Господа наполнило облако.

14 Из-за этого облака священники не могли продолжать свою службу, потому что слава заполнила храм Божий.

Chapter 5

1 THUS all the work that Solomon made for the house of the LORD was finished; and Solomon brought in all the things which David his father had dedicated; and the silver and the gold and all the vessels he put in the treasures of the house of the LORD.

2 Then Solomon assembled at Jerusalem all the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the chiefs of the fathers of the children of Israel, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD from the city of David, which is Zion.

3 Wherefore all the men of Israel assembled themselves to King Solomon at Jerusalem in the feast of tabernacles, which is in the seventh month.

4 And all the elders of Israel came; and the priests took up the ark.

5 And they brought up the ark of the LORD and the tabernacle of the congregation and all the holy vessels that were in the tabernacle, these did the priests and the Levites bring up.

6 And King Solomon and all the people of Israel that were assembled to him before the ark sacrificed sheep and oxen which could not be counted nor numbered for multitude.

7 Then the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and put it in its place, into the most holy place under the wings of the cherubim:

8 For the cherubim spread forth their wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubim covered the ark and the poles thereof above.

9 And the poles were so long that the ends of the poles were seen from underneath the ark within the house, but they were not seen from the outside. And there they remain to this day.

10 There was nothing in the ark except the two stone tablets which Moses had put there, which he brought from mount Sinai. This is the same covenant which the LORD made with the children of Israel when they came out of the land of Egypt.

11 And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place (for all the priests who were present there entered into the holy place;

12 Also the Levites, who were the singers, all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeruthun, with their sons and their brethren, being arrayed in white linen, having cymbals and psalteries and harps, stood at the east end of the altar, and with them an hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets):

13 That the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endures for ever; that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD,

14 So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud; for the house of the LORD was filled with the brightness of his glory.

1 THUS all the work that Solomon made for the house of the LORD was finished; and Solomon brought in all the things which David his father had dedicated; and the silver and the gold and all the vessels he put in the treasures of the house of the LORD.

2 Затем Соломон созвал всех старейшин Израиля, всех глав колен Израиля, всех начальников израильских семей, чтобы перенести ковчег Соглашения Господа из города Давида, то есть Сиона, в храм Господний.

2 Then Solomon assembled at Jerusalem all the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the chiefs of the fathers of the children of Israel, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD from the city of David, which is Zion.

3 Все израильтяне пришли к царю Соломону на праздник, который отмечался в седьмом месяце года.

3 Wherefore all the men of Israel assembled themselves to King Solomon at Jerusalem in the feast of tabernacles, which is in the seventh month.

4 Когда собрались все старейшины, священники и левиты подняли ковчег Соглашения и понесли его в Иерусалимский храм. Они также несли шатёр собрания со всеми священными вещами в нём.

4 And all the elders of Israel came; and the priests took up the ark.

5 And they brought up the ark of the LORD and the tabernacle of the congregation and all the holy vessels that were in the tabernacle, these did the priests and the Levites bring up.

6 А царь Соломон и весь собравшийся к нему израильский народ шли перед ковчегом, принося в жертву столько овец и крупного рогатого скота, что их невозможно было сосчитать.

6 And King Solomon and all the people of Israel that were assembled to him before the ark sacrificed sheep and oxen which could not be counted nor numbered for multitude.

11 And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place (for all the priests who were present there entered into the holy place;

13 Люди, игравшие на трубах, и люди, которые пели, звучали как единое целое. Они пели и играли вместе, когда прославляли и благодарили Господа. Они издавали громкий звук трубами, кимвалами и другими музыкальными инструментами и пели песню под названием «Господь добр, любовь Его вечна!» Затем храм Господа наполнило облако.

13 That the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endures for ever; that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD,
